3-Day eBike Tour in the Gran Sasso National Park for ADVANCED-level riders, reserved for Santa Cruz Owner Club members

Departure on Friday at 9:00 AM from L’Aquila at Sport Service, Viale Corrado IV 32.

Day 1
Starting from L’Aquila, we will reach Rocca Calascio, the famous and evocative mountaintop castle where we will stay overnight in historic dwellings at the foot of the fortress—an “albergo diffuso” spread across renovated medieval buildings.
Day 1 includes approximately 67 km, 2,100 m of elevation gain, and about 900 m of descent, almost entirely off-road, through stunning landscapes and incredibly fun downhill trails.

Day 2
We will reach Campo Imperatore via the plateau and the famous Scoppaturo Canyon, a film location for “They Call Me Trinity.” From Campo Imperatore, we will descend into the valley along some of the wildest trails of the Gran Sasso, with over 1,500 m of descent and guaranteed fun.
Day 2 includes approximately 55 km and about 1,400 m of elevation gain. Overnight stay in Assergi, a charming village at the foot of the Gran Sasso.

Day 3
We return toward L’Aquila, riding through the magnificent mountains separating the Gran Sasso slopes from the valley where the city lies. We will follow fantastic trails with breathtaking views and plenty of downhill fun for MTB enthusiasts. We will also pass through places rich in fascinating myths and legends.

The tour will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 4 participants, and each booking will be confirmed only after accommodation availability is verified. Immediate payment by bank transfer to the Tour Operator is required. Cancellations with refund are allowed up to 20 days before departure, with a 25% penalty. No refund will be provided for late cancellations.

A medical certificate of fitness for non-competitive cycling activity (issued by a general practitioner) is required. Competitive certification is also accepted if already held.
